GSM Alarm RC38 เป็นอุปกรณ์ที่ใช้สำหรับการแจ้งเตือนเมื่อได้รับสัญญาณการเกิด Alarm จากภายนอก RC38 จะส่งข้อความแจ้งเตือนไปยังเบอร์โทรศัพท์ซึ่งถูกโปรแกรมไว้ล่วงหน้า การโปรแกรมข้อความและเบอร์โทรศัพท์สามารถโปรแกรมได้โดยผ่านทางเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ RC38 สามารถใช้งานได้ดังต่อไปนี้
1. Analog Input Alarm สามารถตั้งค่า Alarm ได้ 2 ค่า คือ High-Alarm และ Low-Alarm เมื่อเกิด Alarm RC38 จะส่ง SMS ออกไป
2. Digital Input Alarm สามารถเลือกให้ทำงานได้เป็น Counter-Mode หรือ Status-Mode
2.1. Counter-Mode จะส่ง SMS ไปเมื่อ Counter นับค่าถึงค่า Setpoint ที่ตั้งไว้
2.2. Status-Mode จะส่ง SMS ไปเมื่อมีการเปลี่ยนแปลง Digital Input
3. Digital Output สามารถส่ง SMS มาควบคุมการ ON-OFF ของ Digital Output ได้
4. Read Out สามารถส่ง SMS มาเพื่อทำการอ่านค่าวัดจาก RC38 ได้
