Data Logger ML22 เป็นอุปกรณ์ทำหน้าที่บันทึกข้อมูลขนาดเล็ก โดยสามารถรับสัญญาณเป็น Voltage (0-100 mV, 0-200 mV, 0-1 V, 0-5 V) โดยข้อมูลนี้จะถูกบันทึกอย่างต่อเนื่องไว้ในหน่วยความจำภายในเครื่อง ซึ่งจะมีค่าวันและเวลาที่บันทึกไว้กำกับลงไปด้วย และสามารถบันทึกข้อมูลที่ความเร็วสูงได้ (เร็วสุด 5 msecs/1 channel, 10 msecs/2 channels)
การอ่านข้อมูลที่บันทึกอยู่ใน ML22 ทำได้โดยใช้เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์เชื่อมต่อกับ ML22 ผ่านทาง RS-232 Port หรือ ผ่านทาง Modem โดยมีโปรแกรมช่วยในการอ่านข้อมูลเข้าคอมพิวเตอร์ ข้อมูลที่ได้จะนำมาแสดงผลบนคอมพิวเตอร์ในแบบตัวเลขหรือนำมาแสดงในรูปแบบกราฟได้ ข้อมูลนี้สามารถนำไปใช้ในโปรแกรมบน Windows อื่นๆ เช่น MS Excel, MS Word ซึ่งช่วยให้สะดวกในการนำข้อมูลไปทำการคำนวณเพิ่มเติมหรือจัดทำรายงานได้อีกด้วย
